World Hunger Day is November 2nd : Together We Can End Global Hunger - In a world where there is more than enough food to feed everyone, yet more than 900 million people do not have enough to eat, let us work to end hunger for good. Join World Renew to plant the hope of Christ with communities struggling with hunger. With your gifts, we can help provide the training and tools families need to journey away from hunger for the long haul.  There are Peter Fish displayed in the foyer.  Please take one home & fill it up with loose change & then remember to bring it next week for the World Hunger Offering.

“Discover the Bible” study group met on Thursday at 7pm.   Genesis 2 was discussed in which we discovered many new insights. Everyone welcome to come to discover what God has for us in Genesis 4.

KAIROS Blanket Exercise Mon. Sept. 29; 7-9pm at Huron Christian School, Clinton  Ten years ago the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) released its report with 94 Calls to Action. In 2021, Sept. 30 was officially recognized as a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. As Canadians and Christians we are challenged to engage with this reconciliation process. Youth, parents and community members are invited to participate in an evening of learning and engagement with active participation in a walk through history as Cindy Stover and Adrian Jacobs facilitate the KAIROS Blanket Exercise using a youth script to give perspective to the current complex realities.
