Thrive Faith Formation Tip - Epiphany (January 6) reminds us that Jesus was revealed to the Magi, who were considered outsiders and seekers. This week ask God to show you someone who might feel like an outsider or seeker. How can you reflect Christ’s light and love to them? Sometimes the simplest act—an invitation, a kind word, a prayer—can be a guiding light in a weary world.

Kids Corner:  Love: God’s Most Powerful Gift -  You were made to love and be loved—God made you special and gave you a heart that can share kindness, hope, and joy with others. When you choose love every day, you show strength, shine like Jesus, and make the world a brighter place!

 The postponed Congregational Meeting is being planned for January 12,2026 at 7 pm.  

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has helped with the Community Dinner!  120 people were fed a delicious Christmas Dinner!  Thanks to the Youth Group for setting up & decorating.  Thanks for the volunteers, for the donations and for all of the support throughout the year.  

Kids Corner:  Advent :  Away in a Manger -  Jesus knows what it feels like to be human, just like you. This means He understands when you’re tired, hurt, or having a hard day. He loves you so much and always knows how to comfort and care for you!

Walk to Bethlehem Advent Pilgrimage.  On this second Sunday of Advent the Clinton & Area Ministerial welcomes you to start or continue the journey of the 112km Mary and Joseph travelled from Nazareth to  Bethlehem.  Walking any distance is worthwhile while reflecting on the themes of Advent and the Christmas story. This Saturday, Dec. 6, 10:00 am anyone interested is welcome to meet in the parking lot of the Clinton Christian Reformed Church to walk 4km together (next one will be on Dec. 20 at the Clinton United Church)  You’re also welcome to Join the "Walk to Bethlehem" group on StepUp, https://join.thestepupapp.com/PTMtok.

Senior and Community Christmas Dinner is on Tuesday December 16th at 5:30 pm.

Senior and Community Christmas Dinner is on Tuesday December 16th at 5:30 pm.

You’re invited on a Walk to Bethlehem Advent Pilgrimage.  The Clinton & Area Ministerial welcomes all churches in Clinton and Vanastra to share in this journey the weeks after the Sundays of Advent – November 30-December 27.  The challenge over these weeks is to cover the 112km Mary and Joseph travelled from Nazareth to  Bethlehem.  A guiding document provides biblical passages to reflect on as you do so, and space to track your progress [note where you have printed copies available and/or if an electronic copy is attached]. We’ll also have Saturday morning opportunities to meet at different churches and do some walking together, with locations shared each week.

​Kids Corner:  Advent:  The Season of Waiting -  Advent starts next week—it’s the four weeks before Christmas, a time to get our hearts ready for Jesus. We remember that He was born for us and that one day He will come again, so we can trust God while we wait.
